We are from San Luis Potosi Mexico, my husband and I have been married 15 years and we have 3 children. We have always worked in restaurants since we came to the United States. Food is part of our culture; we grew up cooking. We love Mexican food because it has always been in our hearts and it is the reason why we want to start this project; because we believe in our way of cooking. Opening this restaurant has always been our dream.
My husband left his good paying job in order to start a new business, he started a moving company and became very successful. Thanks to that outcome we were able to open this place. We are very grateful for this Restaurant that has become a blessing in our lives. Same way we want to bless you with our delicious fresh Mexican Food.

No matter what you are celebrating today, you are always welcome to party here at Maria’s Mexican Restaurant. We have an array of menu items that will complement your gathering.
So if it’s business, weddings, birthdays or any other type of gathering our doors are always open to you and your guests. You can always make a reservation at least one day in advance, that way we will arrange your spot so your party will go as smooth as possible. We also have a VIP section for any gatherings; it is nice and private which will bring a sense of privacy for you and your guests.
Need catering? No problem! that is our expertise! You can count on our qualified chefs that will make your party a great success! Just leave it up to us, we will bring deliciousness to your party!
The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent! I work and live very close to Maria’s and it is a favorite hangout for my coworkers and family. They are happy to accommodate our VEGAN diet and have created some dishes that were not only delicious but beautiful as well! I highly recommend Maria’s! You can even say hello to her as she is nearly always there greeting customers and attending to the high standards of her restaurant.
Delicious food and good service. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga Platter, and it was splendid. Good quality ingredients and delicious flavors. Their chips are great, and the salsa has a delicious flavor. Mexican rice is one of my favorite parts of the meal, and theirs is delicious. My husband ordered a bean and cheese burrito smothered in their red sauce and thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well.
My husband and I love Maria’s. The Carnitas platter is my new favorite. Everything is very flavorful, fresh made and the service is always amazing! We always feel welcome… Highly recommend you give them a try. Best Mexican food in South Ogden!
